Risk management policy
Main risks
- Capital loss: you may lose all or part of the capital invested.
- Illiquidity: amounts invested may be locked until the project matures.
- Project risk: delays, cost overruns or default of the project sponsor.
- Country and currency risk: political, regulatory or monetary developments.
Our risk scale
Each project is rated from 1 (lowest risk) to 5 (highest risk), with a detailed explanation on its sheet.
Good practice
Diversify your investments and only invest money you will not need during the expected period.
Risk level
| 1 — Very low | Low expected volatility; a loss of capital nevertheless remains possible. |
| 2 — Low | Limited risk, exposed to market or counterparty events. |
| 3 — Moderate | Intermediate risk: significant changes in value are possible. |
| 4 — High | Significant risk of fluctuation and partial loss of capital. |
| 5 — Very high | Very high risk, which may result in the total loss of the capital invested. |
